On Thursday, 26 June 2025 — which also marked the first of Muharram 1447H— the AICREATIVV team traded their usual work attire for something far more colourful and steeped in heritage. We gathered at the Rizqun Hotel Ballroom to celebrate a milestone in our teammate Iman Shamsuddin’s life: her wedding to Fikri Fathullah, in full Baba Nyonya style.
Honouring Heritage
The Baba Nyonya theme wasn’t meant for everyone at first — just family. For Iman Shamsuddin, it began as a passing comment to her mother, a nod to her late great-grandmother who donned the kebaya daily, and a heartfelt conversation with her then-fiancé about “going back to their roots.” But when she returned to the office with her wedding invitation drafts, Ampuan Hafiz caught sight of them, lit up with excitement, and announced to the entire team that they too, would join in. Suddenly, what began as a family dress code transformed into an AICREATIVV family commitment. From shopping trips and kain-hunting adventures to custom-made outfits and raiding slowly growing kebaya collections, the preparations were as joyous as the celebration itself. On the night, everyone dressed to impress; Iman Shamsuddin described the moment as breathtaking, “like watching a fashion show.” In her words, everyone was stunning, charming and [it] made her feel proud.
The Team That Showed Up
The team’s presence wasn’t just about looking the part; it was about showing up wholeheartedly. In the days leading up to the wedding, AICREATIVV stepped in with open hands and full hearts. Some wrapped hantaran berian with precision, others prepared the campur (doorgifts), while a few took on logistics. Ampuan Hafiz even sang alongside Iman’s granduncle, creating a moment that beautifully bridged family and work. When things became overwhelming, the team naturally shifted into management mode, handling details with the same dedication they bring to creative projects. Every gesture carried the same message: we are in this together.
Or as Ampuan Hafiz simply put it: “It felt like we were part of the family.”
Teamwork Beyond the Office
For Iman Shamsuddin, letting the team help wasn’t easy at first. She felt guilty for asking, but as Amal Osmera reminded her, it was okay to lean on the people who have always stood by her. And soon enough, that guilt melted away. “I was so overwhelmed with how much everyone wanted to help out,” Iman Shamsuddin shared. What struck her most was the joy in the process; the laughter, the efficiency, the way the team turned tasks into moments of togetherness. We owe thanks to AICREATIVV’s resident ‘A-Type’ Elroy Ramantan, who lead the packing and wrapping process, ensuring that the team were as efficient as a well-oiled machine.
Imamull Qhaeer compared it to a round of Overcooked!, a game the team often plays—where synergy and quick coordination are everything.

A Reflection of Culture
Moments like these remind us that AICREATIVV has always been more than just a creative agency. Beyond the deadlines and projects, it’s a team that shows up for each other—in the office, in life, and in the milestones that matter most. Iman Shamsuddin’s wedding wasn’t just a personal chapter, it was a shared story that reflected the same spirit of collaboration, trust, and togetherness that defines who we are.
Freezing the Moment
If there was a single moment Iman Shamsuddin could freeze, it would be the akad nikah — the instant she and Fikri Fathullah were officially pronounced husband and wife. Standing on the pelamin, surrounded not only by family but also by her AICREATIVV family, she felt the weight of love and unity fill the room.
That same emotion rippled through the team. Watching Iman Shamsuddin walk down the aisle was enough to break even the most stoic of faces, with Table 55 quickly earning the nickname “cry baby table” as Ampuan Hafiz and Amal Osmera led the first wave of tears. But for Iman Shamsuddin, the most tender moment came when she salam-ed her parents and in-laws. “My family isn’t very affectionate, so when I hugged my mom, it felt like we were saying all the unsaid things.” Between her personal milestones and the team’s unfiltered emotions, the wedding became a shared memory of tears, joy, and the kind of togetherness that defines AICREATIVV.
A Celebration Beyond the Wedding
For many of us, the wedding wasn’t just about witnessing a marriage — it was about celebrating a teammate, friend, and sister figure who has been part of AICREATIVV’s journey from the early days. As Imamull Qhaeer reflected, “When we queued for the picture taking on stage, we realised we were a huge team — with multiple generations of interns and past members — celebrating the first member’s wedding. That was a powerful moment.”
Looking back, Iman Shamsuddin shared, “I’m blessed to call AICREATIVV not only my team, but also my friends. Seeing the team and our loved ones come together during the wedding day, and even in the days leading up to it, was truly heartwarming. You lot would always go above and beyond for one another. Some of you helped with the doorgifts, some took over management when things got rough, some beautifully wrapped the hantar berian, Hafiz sang with my granduncle, everyone went all out with the dress code, some just dropped by to say hi and so much more. Other than that, I owe so much to those of you who have been part of me and Fikri’s story and growth in one way or another.”
Even months later, Iman Shamsuddin and and her now-husband Fikri Fathullah still reminisce about those moments — the unity, the laughter, the tears, and the unmistakable sense of family that filled the room. What shone through was the bond that defines AICREATIVV: not limited to projects or office walls, but present in love, culture, and life’s defining moments.
