On Tuesday, 12 August 2025, our creative agency welcomed three unexpected but very special guests — the Sony Regional Market Development Centre (RMDC) team from Singapore.
The story of how they found us is just as surprising as the visit itself. It all began with a simple Google search: “Creative Agency Brunei.” Out of every possible result, AICREATIVV appeared at the very top. That moment — proof of the power of visibility — wouldn’t have happened without the meticulous SEO work of our marketing intern, Faiqah Adawiyah, whose effort ensured that our story could be found by the right people at the right time.
At first, we were skeptical. Sony reaching out to us? It almost sounded like a scam. But after verifying their credentials, the reality sank in: they were coming to Brunei and wanted to meet us — the only creative agency on their list.
A Conversation That Clicked
The visit started in our cozy meeting room, but it didn’t take long for the mood to shift from formal introductions to easy, engaging conversation. Clement, Vivien, and Si Yin brought an energy that was both curious and open — the kind of atmosphere where ideas flowed freely.
The discussion spanned everything from Brunei’s creative ecosystem to the realities of buying camera gear locally. Sony RMDC shared their plans to work with 673shop to make professional gear more accessible, including workshops, contests, and photowalks to inspire local creatives.
For us, it was also a chance to showcase how AICREATIVV approaches storytelling in Brunei — balancing creativity with cultural and regulatory awareness, and finding ways to make brand work resonate deeply with local audiences.

More Than Just a Meeting
For our media team, meeting Sony in person was almost surreal. Many of us had grown our passion for media using Sony cameras and lenses, so the idea of potentially collaborating directly with them felt like a full-circle moment.
But beyond the excitement, the visit carried something bigger: a reminder that our creative footprint is reaching far beyond Brunei’s borders. As Elroy Ramantan put it,
“Being the only agency they chose to meet with tells us that our presence, approach, and reputation have set us apart in a competitive space.”
It was also a powerful example of how every role in a creative agency matters. Faiqah’s behind-the-scenes SEO work opened the door, and the work of the entire team made stepping through it worthwhile.
Looking Ahead
We don’t know exactly where this conversation with Sony RMDC will lead, but the possibilities are exciting — from creating spaces for Bruneians to try professional gear before buying, to building collaborative projects that elevate local talent.
One thing is certain: this was more than just a visit. It was a signal that Brunei’s creative scene is gaining visibility on the global stage, and AICREATIVV is proud to be part of that momentum.
As Imamull Qhaeer put it simply: “We are noticed by people outside. We are seen.”
