1. A Pitch Across Borders
It’s not every day that someone flies in from another country just to work on a pitch, but that’s exactly what Daniel Cheng, Founder and Creative Director of Metric Design Studio (MDS), did. In just 28 hours, he landed in Brunei, caught up with Imamull Qhaeer, and the two dove straight into creative discussions, sharing ideas, challenges, and philosophies over lunch at Le Tonkin.
The meeting wasn’t just about the pitch itself. It was a moment of genuine exchange between two creative leaders who understood the grind, the passion, and the weight behind every idea. Before catching his flight back to Singapore, Daniel Cheng even had time to stop by the AICREATIVV office, where he shared insights about design culture in Singapore and Shanghai, leaving the team inspired by how collaboration can bridge distance, time, and creative language.
2. IBTE 30th Convocation
On October 30, 2025, the team traded their laptops for bouquets and cheers at the International Convention Centre (ICC) to celebrate a full-circle moment, the graduation of six of our former interns.
From pre-production to post-graduation, we’ve watched these names: Putra Nazirul, Syakir Maslani, Hafizzuddin Junaidi, Adreana Shafeqa, Faiqah Adawiyah, and Khadijah Asnawi who have grown from curious students into capable creatives. The day was filled with proud faces and heartfelt reunions, each handshake and hug reminding us that AICREATIVV has always been more than just a workplace; it’s a stepping stone, a classroom, and for many, a home base that continues to cheer them on long after their internship ends.
3. The Great Waterbomb Reunion
When Nuur Batrisyia Ali rejoined AICREATIVV as Business Developer, she didn’t just return quietly. To remind us of her lively and mood-making personality she just had to come back with a splash. Hosted by Nuur Batrisyia Ali and her family, the team spent a day at her home in what quickly became one of our most memorable gatherings of the year.
With tables overflowing with homemade food prepared by Auntie “Mummy” and Uncle “Daddy,” and laughter echoing from the poolside, it was the kind of day that reminded everyone why connection matters as much as creativity. Between pool games, karaoke throwbacks to Sinaran, It’s My Life, and Down, and endless inside jokes, the afternoon blurred into night, with our tummies full of delicious food and throats sore from screaming our hearts out at karaoke. It was a celebration not just of Nuur Batrisyia Ali’s return, but of the friendships and memories that continue to anchor the AICREATIVV family.
4. The Bangkok Break
After months of projects, proposals, and production sprints, part of the team finally got the reset they deserved. Imamull Qhaaer, Amal Osmera, Elroy Ramantan, Iman Shamsuddin, Alimin Affendi, Ampuan Hafiz, Aaqilull Qhaeer, and Stephanie Yong took off for a creative getaway to Bangkok, one that turned out to be as inspiring as it was refreshing.
From exploring the Bangkok Illustration Fair to soaking in art at Jim Thompson’s House and taking ferry rides along the Chao Phraya, the team returned with a fresh sense of curiosity and appreciation for Southeast Asia’s creative pulse. The highlight, though, was visiting the Pop Mart Flagship Store at IconSiam, where storytelling met retail design in ways that reignited our love for visual culture. Meanwhile, the rest of the AICREATIVV team enjoyed their own long weekend — a quiet recharge before another round of creative marathons.
5. XEDC Vol. 2: The Creative Sprint
As the month drew to a close, the studio buzzed with energy again, this time for X Entertainment Dance Showcase (XEDC) Vol. 2, a collaboration with Pika from X.Ent Studio. What began as a sponsorship meeting quickly evolved into a full creative partnership: AICREATIVV took on pre-production, event branding, marketing visuals, and 3D assets, shaping the entire visual direction of the upcoming event.
The creative team were given full creative freedom for this project and they immediately locked into full sprint mode, balancing Y2K influences with Tokyo Drift-inspired energy, while the media team went from storyboard to back-to-back shoots. With Pika giving us room to explore and experiment, the X.EDC project became a creative playground — a reminder that sometimes, the best work happens when imagination is allowed to run wild.
Honourable Mentions
UBD Incubation Talk
Earlier in the month, Imamull Qhaeer returned to Universiti Brunei Darussalam, this time as a speaker, not a student. He also brought along Haziyah Azalmey and Nuur Batrisyia Ali to share their insight who simultaneously benefitted from the session, too. Imamull Qhaeer shared lessons on entrepreneurship, marketing, and creative growth with U-Beyond’s incubation students. His parting advice?
“Make new mistakes and never think you’re doing it alone.”

Interviewing the Next IBTE Batch
Before the graduation hats even hit the air, the team was already meeting the next wave of IBTE interns. These sessions were more than interviews. They were conversations about ambition, curiosity, and what it means to grow in both craft and character.
We wish them all the best and we look forward to meeting them again, once they begin their internship!
STAC Patisserie Collaboration
Our partnership with STAC Patisserie officially kicked off this month, marking a new chapter in our SME journey. The year-long collaboration focuses on redefining their social media strategy with more storytelling, stronger visuals, and meaningful audience engagement. With the café’s warm identity and our creative direction. The kitchen at STAC Patisserie isn’t the only one cooking as we’re ready to make every scroll feel just as sweet as their desserts.
October felt like a beautiful contradiction, it was a month of motion and reflection, filled with laughter, long nights, and creative leaps. As the year edges closer to its end, one thing’s for sure: growth might start in the studio, but it’s the people, places, and pauses in between that make it magic.
