Hi, Welcome to AICREATIVV! This song was recommended by Nuur Batrisyia Ali, please have a listen to it as you read this entry!
Finding Familiar Faces, New Ground
When Nuur Batrisyia Ali first stepped into AICREATIVV as a full-timer, things felt both familiar and foreign.
She laughed, “Whenever I walk into the office now, I know that whatever I do, good or bad, affects the team.”
It’s a different kind of weight compared to when she was an intern or a visitor, but one she’s grown to carry with quiet confidence. “I’ve gotten closer to everyone too, so that helps. It’s easier to banter, to work together. It just… feels right.”
After stints in legislative and secretarial roles, Nuur Batrisyia Ali didn’t expect to return to a creative space—let alone in business development.
“When Abang Maymell (Imamull Qhaeer) first asked me, I literally said, ‘Are you for real?’” she admits. “I had no business background. But I reminded myself that learning never stops. I wanted to say yes to growth.”
Lessons From the Structured World
Before joining AICREATIVV, Nuur Batrisyia Ali worked in environments built on precision—legislative offices, policy meetings, and secretarial coordination. “Those roles taught me how much structure actually enables creativity,” she reflects.
“Clarity, documentation, accountability; they’re not restrictions. They’re the reason things can move forward smoothly.”
Her biggest takeaway? That progress isn’t just numbers and clients—it’s people.
“Every decision affects real lives. That mindset shapes how I see business development now. I don’t want growth to be purely transactional; it has to be relational.”
When the Dots Connect
Nuur Batrisyia Ali describes herself as a “heavy researcher,” someone who dives deep before diving in. But for her, research isn’t just about data, it’s about the euphoria of understanding. “When the dots connect, my brain just goes ‘go, go, go,’” she laughs.
She remembers a moment that defined that feeling. “It was a meeting at YEAB with BEDB and the Timor-Leste Embassy. I suddenly realised all the things I’d learned from different contexts clicked in that one conversation. Everything just aligned and the meeting became so fruitful. It was such a wow moment.”
Now at AICREATIVV, she hopes to recreate that spark, bringing clarity and connection to every project she’s part of.
The Quiet Side Character

If AICREATIVV were a film, Nuur Batrisyia Ali says she’d be “the side character who teaches the main character to pause.”
“I don’t like being the centre of attention,” she admits.
“I notice the small things; the tone of a meeting, the person who hasn’t spoken up, the little detail that makes an idea feel more human. I like to hold space, to remind people to breathe and recalibrate.”
It’s an instinct that fits right into the culture she loves most about the team: one where everyone genuinely cares. “What feels like home is that people here care deeply about their work and about each other. It makes everything more human, not just about deadlines.”
Growth That Stays
When asked what kind of growth she’s chasing now, her answer is simple: “I’m learning to stay.”
“For me, growth isn’t always about chasing new things. It’s about learning to be consistent, to be patient with process, to be okay with figuring things out,” she explains.
As someone bridging multiple worlds—creative, structural, and relational, Nuur Batrisyia Ali hopes to be the quiet connector between them.
“I’ve learned that creativity without clarity gets lost, but structure without heart burns people out,” she says. “I just want to help the team move with both—grounded in purpose, but still curious enough to explore.”
