MINI BLOG — SERIES 006

Two men with glasses discuss work at a table in a bright home office, one gesturing with a stylus beside a laptop and tablet.

There was a time when we noticed our work slowly drifting away from the brief. Not because people weren't paying attention, but because everyone genuinely wanted to do great work. We experimented more, pushed ideas further, and tried to show what we were capable of. It all came from a good place. But somewhere along the way, the work started feeling more personal than it needed to be. Feedback became harder to receive because it felt like our ideas were being judged, instead of simply being improved.

A conversation within the team helped us see it differently. We talked about unity, about growing together, and about the fact that we're not competing with one another.

Then someone said something that stuck with us:

"How can we be on the same page if we're not even in the same book?"

It was such a simple sentence, but it reminded us that the goal was never to prove who had the best idea. The goal was always to build the best work together.

Since then, something has changed. Feedback feels lighter, ideas are shared more freely, and people aren't afraid to ask questions or admit when they're unsure. The work no longer feels like a reflection of our worth, just something we're building together.

We're still learning, but one thing has become clear: proving yourself might make you look good for a moment, but improving together helps everyone move forward.
