When Stephanie Yong walked across the stage on August 23rd, 2025, in her graduation robe with golden songket details, tassel shifting from right to left, it wasn’t just the end of four years of study at Kolej International Graduate Studies (KIGS). It was a full circle moment. From first meeting AICREATIVV during her viva voce presentation at KIGS — where her soft-spoken presence and creative work impressed the team — to now graduating with them sitting in the crowd cheering her on, Stephanie’s journey has been one of growth, resilience, and new beginnings.

From Classroom to Creative Studio
Stephanie Yong’s time at KIGS was filled with challenges and lessons, but it was at AICREATIVV where she first bridged the gap between theory and practice. Interning under the creative team, she found herself in client meetings, working on live projects, and sharpening her technical skills with Illustrator and Photoshop.
“AICREATIVV taught me that it’s never wrong to ask questions, and that making mistakes is part of the journey,” she reflected.
That mindset prepared her for her transition into a full-time Creative Designer, where she quickly adapted to bigger responsibilities and a faster pace.
One of her proudest moments came from rebranding Club Stbl, a project that pushed her to think bigger and affirmed her growth as a creative professional. For Stephanie Yong, every project became a stepping stone, from improving her design skills to learning how to communicate with clients and colleagues alike.
A Shared Milestone
Stephanie Yong’s graduation was made even more special because she shared the moment with her fellow KIGS batch mate and former AICREATIVV intern, Zaireena Osman. Although the two barely knew each other during their studies, their internship brought them closer, bonding over shared projects and even Popmart collectibles. Seeing both walk the stage as graduates felt like a celebration of friendship and persistence, a reminder that journeys are richer when shared.
Looking Ahead
Now a full-time Creative Designer at AICREATIVV, Stephanie Yong sees her graduation not as the closing of a chapter, but the start of a new one. She hopes to dive deeper into illustration, explore new design styles, and continue building work that sparks inspiration.
“I feel glad that I already have a full-time job doing what I love,” she said. “It’s a privilege not to go through the same struggles most graduates face.”
Grateful for the guidance she’s received, Stephanie calls AICREATIVV more than just a workplace, it’s her second family. Their support shaped her growth, encouraged her to step out of her comfort zone, and gave her the confidence to own her creative journey.
Her story, from student to professional, is a testament to persistence and passion. And as the tassel moved to the left, it marked not just her academic achievement, but the continuation of a career already in full bloom.
