Away From the Desk, Back to the Sea

It’s not always about the next project, the next deadline, or the next big pitch.

Sometimes, what we really need is a moment to simply breathe—and that’s exactly what we did. On Thursday, 29th May 2025, the AICREATIVV team packed up and took a much-needed break by the sea for our first-ever Away Day at Pantai Muara. This wasn’t just another company outing; it was a chance to reconnect with each other beyond work.

The whole crew showed up—past interns, current team members, and the familiar faces who shaped us. It was a gathering of energies that had been too caught up in deliverables, proposals, and back-to-back meetings. And here, amidst the salt breeze and soft sand, we hit pause.

There were no briefs or client calls—just sand, water, and the occasional frisbee. We ran, we played, and most importantly, we laughed.

Not Just A Day Off

The Away Day was about remembering the why behind our work. Everyone brought a different kind of energy. Here are some highlights:

No CGI. Just Dhiyaurrahman Suhaimi, beach, backflip, and AICREATIVV energy.

  • Dhiyaurrahman Suhaimi casually performed a backflip out of nowhere, like it was just another day.

  • Syakir Maslani discovered a long stick, held it proudly, and declared himself a moon-landing astronaut.

Boom mic? Nope—just AICREATIVV beach filmmaking in action.

  • Faiqah Razali, of course, turned it all into a film shoot. One moment she was holding the same stick—next thing we knew, it was a boom mic.

  • Ampuan Hafiz and Iman Shamsuddin, true to their theatre kid roots, broke into spontaneous musical numbers. It wasn’t until we reviewed the footage later that we realised Hafiz’s shirt had been inside out the entire time.

  • Meanwhile, Zaid Al-Rumman, Imamull Qhaeer, Alimin Affendi, and Hisham Firdaus stood near the waterline, pretending to be delegates at a regional summit—complete with handshakes and diplomatic poses.

Delegates assembled. AICREATIVV diplomacy, but make it sandy.

It was chaos, but the beautiful kind. The kind that reminds you that the best teams don’t just work well together—they vibe, too.

Our Kingdom, In Sand

A few of us ended up at the edge of the beach building what became “our kingdom”—a sandcastle compound complete with makeshift fortresses.

There was no goal, no Pinterest reference board, no judging criteria. Just hands in the sand and ideas flying.

Spikes, dives, drama—just another AICREATIVV beach meeting.

Volleyball matches turned competitive. Rugby matches turned slightly chaotic. A frisbee whizzed over the grill. And in between all of it, we ate, we talked, we checked in—not about tasks or KPIs, but about life, family, silly dreams, and weekend plans.

Golden hour chats. Cozy, quiet, AICREATIVV kind of magic.

It might have been a short escape, but it left a lasting impact.

More Than a Team

Away from the office walls, the title of “team” faded a little. What remained was something deeper. In moments like these, you see how every joke, every assist in a volleyball match, and every sand-covered handshake builds the kind of connection that can’t be taught in onboarding decks.

Sunset, sand, and AICREATIVV—the dream team, unplugged.

As the sun began to dip into the ocean, we took one last group photo, huddled together in our post-barbecue joy and sunburnt glory. It was blurry. Someone blinked. But it was perfect.

Blurry? Maybe. But AICREATIVV joy, loud and clear.

Here’s to more days like this—where we remember that while the work we do matters, the people we do it with matter even more.

Because that day at Pantai Muara was a reminder of why we started in the first place, and why we kept goingtogether.
