THE BEAMS HOLD THE HOUSE — — THOUGH NO ONE SEES THEM STAND Paragraph Some roles live beneath everything else. They carry weight so others can move and grow freely above. The strength beneath the floor is rarely seen. It just holds the structure steady day after day. Leadership can feel lonely at times, in fact, it can feel invisible. Still, the work matters. The house stands because someone chose to hold it. And when I remember that, the weight feels meaningful. It feels worth carrying. Maybe this is simply my place to stand? How lonely.

Artist Notes

This is a personal piece. As I step deeper into leadership, I feel the quiet loneliness that comes with it. Conversations have changed. They feel heavier now, often centered around solutions and direction. I miss the lightness of simple moments. At the same time, there is a quiet happiness in knowing I can support the people I lead. This lingering thought inspired me to make this entry, and now it is displayed on my workspace.

Fleeting Feelings

I've felt all of these, and so have you. Feelings that are familiar but hard to describe. They come quietly, leave quietly, barely touching the surface but changing something within us underneath. This is an attempt to notice them before they're gone, and to capture them in a series of soft artworks. To name what passes through the heart and hold it still - this is Fleeting Feelings. A mix of japanese sayings, haikus, gradients, simple shapes with a soft glow.
