BENEATH CRACKS, LIFE STIRS — — HOPEFUL WHISPERS IN SHADES Paragraph Even in what seems broken, there is life — not loud or blooming, but patient and steady, growing beneath the surface. The cracks do not mean failure; they are openings, quiet signs of movement, of something that continues. Like the underside of a leaf, it is hidden, but alive. This feeling is not joy or triumph, but something gentler: a quiet hope. A reminder that we are allowed to heal in silence, allowed to grow even if no one sees.

Artist Notes

I was frustrated that my English Ivy plant kept on having tears and cracks - it was dark, so I took my phone and turned on the flash to see the underside of that leaf. The shadow that casted on the wall was beautiful. It was still striving to live, so I let it be. I turned that shadow into an artwork.

Fleeting Feelings

I've felt all of these, and so have you. Feelings that are familiar but hard to describe. They come quietly, leave quietly, barely touching the surface but changing something within us underneath. This is an attempt to notice them before they're gone, and to capture them in a series of soft artworks. To name what passes through the heart and hold it still - this is Fleeting Feelings. A mix of japanese sayings, haikus, gradients, simple shapes with a soft glow.
