Borneo Tiger Rug
Elroy Ramantan’s Borneo Tiger Rug is a limited, collectible piece that reimagines the iconic Tibetan Tiger rug through a Borneo lens. Symbolising strength and protection, the tiger’s stripes are replaced with Iban warrior tattoo motifs, traditionally worn on the backs of Iban men as marks of bravery and identity.
Each rug is fully customisable, with the freedom to choose your own colour combinations for the border, body, and tattoo patterns—ensuring that no two pieces are ever the same. With only 30 rugs ever produced and shipped globally, each one becomes a rare and personal statement piece.
